as someone who has always been inspired and entranced by 'weird art', it's often hard to find people discussing shit that you're into, especially with obscure or archaic media which is segmented into niche online communities or derelict forums. i've been trying to distance myself from the internet and being online overall recently, but feel like i've kind of lost a bit of myself, having to hide parts of my core personality cause why tf would my corporate desk coworkers give a shit about my obsessions with LSD: dream emulator-likes or visual novels you can only run if you set your old PC onto a Japanese locale. anyways i stumbled onto ur youtube video about weird art and it's refreshing to see that there really are people out there who [censored] with the same type of shit that I did. I found myself smiling each time I saw a game or anime on screen that I'd smoked; an odd sense of familiarity to all the art that I'd admired but never been able to share my appreciation to with others.
anyways sorry for the paragraph but i just wanted to say thank u! you've lowkey been an inspiration for me to be more myself. To revel in my 'weirdness' and share my interests even if it doesn't align with the mainstream status quo. Keep on being cool and take care <3
